Chris Braymen-Arranger

Chris Braymen- Composer/Arranger, Trombone, Assistant Music Director

After graduating from the Eastman School of Music, Chris has had the pleasure of performing and recording with a wide range of arts and entertainment organizations. These include the Rochester Philharmonic, Maynard Ferguson Orchestra, Woody Herman Thundering Herd, Jeff Tyzik Big Band, Full Faith & Credit Big Band, and the Great Basin Street Band.   He has enjoyed some wonderful gigs, such as recording with the orchestra for Linda Ronstadt’s Grammy Nominated “Cry Like a Rainstorm” album, performing shows with Rosemary Clooney, and recording on an “ABC Sunday Night Movie” bumper that his parents got to hear for years on TV.  As a composer and arranger, Chris has contributed music to CDs by Maynard Ferguson, Full Faith & Credit, the Jazz Arts of the Mountainwest Big Band, and the Ira B. Liss Big Band Machine. He has written hours of music for interactive entertainment software including Sierra Online’s Leisure Suit Larry, Eco Quest I, Laura Bow II, and King’s Quest VI games.  He now lives in Salt Lake City, and contributes his technical skill to help to make Disney’s video games sound great.
